Calahonda
“Calahonda” is one of the light shades in the Tierra collection of high temperature cooked fired clay, inspired by the southernmost town in the province of Granada. It is a small town of just 1,600 inhabitants, bathed by the blue waters of the Alboran Sea, which doubles its population in summer. And it’s no wonder: its sands, with their intense and characteristic dark ivory color, provide space for both tourist services and unspoiled natural areas, surrounded by limestone formations. The local flora, consisting of white rosemary bushes, small linaria shoots, and evergreens, creates a palette of purely Mediterranean colors. With the ‘Calahonda’ shade, we bring the warmth of this privileged corner of the Granada coast to the collection.
