Straw
The straw color of our clay tiles has a straw-yellow main base with slight decolorations, tending towards orange and whiter shades. These small variations can be present totally or partially on the surface of the pieces.
This color is characterized by its elegance and the predominance of warm, Mediterranean yellow tones.
The decoloration is natural (and random) in the clay tiles
The fact that different hues appear in the surface is a consequence of the handmade manufacturing process and the firing of the clay in traditional kilns fed with biofuel. The straw tone covers a chromatic range of random combination. As can be seen in the photographs, the tone of each tile is different, although always within the same range.
On the other hand, our Antique finish gives this tone, in addition to more silky worn textures with a vintage look, a greater chromatic richness as it can be installed on both the A side (smoother and more uniform) and the B side (greater imperfections) of the same tile.
If you are looking for a more heterogeneous and untoned finish, you can use our Albero color.
