A home where everything flows in balance and harmony in Donostia

Light colors, sliding doors, and antique white tiles from Todobarro are some of the details that make everything flow in this space

Balance and serenity are what we dream of feeling when we enter our home, that place where we can disconnect from the daily rush and find calm. This is exactly what we feel when visiting this home in Donostia.

To achieve this effect, the BU Arquitectura studio, responsible for the design, opted for a palette of light colors. The interplay of textures is the special touch that brings movement to the space, together with the sliding doors that allow everything to flow. This creates a calm and timeless atmosphere, yet one that is full of details. It is precisely this attention to detail that makes all the difference in the result.

Antique white tiles for the kitchen

One of the highlights of this project is the kitchen, an open space that reflects the light in the home. Our Cuadrado 10 Salina model in antique white was chosen for the front tiles. This choice is perfect for this area, as it adds character to a space with simple, straight-lined furniture.

The color recalls the aura of traditional salt flats, the source of inspiration for these elegant white tiles. The soft white tone is reminiscent of the appearance of natural salt flats, combining with that of the earth and water. This reinforces the feeling of harmony conveyed by this home, which BU Arquitectura has so successfully captured.

White, the ally that brings light to your kitchen

White is the basis for many kitchens in decoration projects for multiple reasons. Used as a base and on surfaces, it reflects the natural light in a room and makes it appear more spacious.
However, the advantages of white tiles in a kitchen go beyond this feeling of spaciousness. The kitchen is one of the places where we spend a lot of our time, a room where we can relax and concentrate. Cooking is an experiment, and if we do it in a space with the right furniture and colors, it can also become a refuge for creativity.
