We participate in the Economy Forum on Andalusian entrepreneurs
The ABC newspaper and Caja Rural del Sur have invited us to participate in a conversation about entrepreneurship and energy transition in Andalucía
Our founder and CEO, Pedro Rosa, was invited to attend the Economic Forum organized by ABC and Caja Rural del Sur as a representative of the Andalusian entrepreneur profile who is thriving amid the industrial transformation currently underway in our region.
The event is aimed to provide an overview of the evolution we are witnessing in the structure of the Andalusian industrial model from the perspective of both business leaders and the local government, which guides and supports the process through its public policies.
In addition to Pedro, government representatives, such as Jorge Paradela, Regional Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines, and Rocío Blanco, Regional Minister of Employment, Business, and Self-Employment, as well as other executives and spokespersons from private Andalusian companies that are following paths parallel to todobarro’s in terms of sustainability, investment in research, and entrepreneurship were present.
Pedro Rosa and todobarro as paradigm of the new Andalusian entrepreneurship
The regional government officials who participated in the meeting explained that, thanks to a combination of public policies that have strongly bet on renewable energy and private initiatives that have not only utilized these technologies but also developed industrial models linked to sustainable energy, Andalucía is transforming its industrial model into one that is compatible with the future.
In this regard, our founder and CEO, Pedro Rosa, was invited to the forum as an example of the new Andalusian entrepreneurial profile that has developed its project within this adaptive framework. Pedro spoke about the challenges posed by the industrialization of the artisanal process, and the measures that must be taken to ensure that the artisanal roots are not lost in this path toward the systematization and industrialization of handmade products.
Regarding todobarro’s work, the project to repurpose sludge from the Guadalquivir River was highlighted. In this project, we apply not only economic principles but also those of the circular economy to transform commercial waste into a product that is not only useful and durable but also sustainable in the medium and long term. As Pedro explained at the event, the project is an opportunity to “turn waste into material, a limitation into an opportunity, and tradition into applied innovation.”
We are deeply grateful to ABC and Caja Rural del Sur for the invitation, and we look forward to continuing to participate in the public conversation about how to transform our production model into one that has a positive impact not only on the economy but also on the social, cultural, and environmental landscape.
