In the projects Damián López develops in his studio, design is understood as a key piece of any company’s strategy. It is a tool to grow and create value in every aspect of a business. To reach those results, LEBLUME deems it fundamental to work alongside clients that share that same passion for quality and beauty.

His design process is based on a deep understanding of the client’s goals and needs, always keeping the final user in mind, creating unique experiences like so. Concepts like artisanship, innovation and differentiation, the search for materials and sustainable processes, and, mostly, the possibility to create objects with an environmental conscience, are key to the work they do on this studio.

For Damián, having the chance to work and know first hand the traditional making process of fired clay (which is still manufactured exactly as it was 1500 years ago) has turned out to be a fascinating experience.

Clay is considered to be a simple and humble material. However, it was used to build monuments as important as the Alhambra de Granada. Having the chance to take all that legacy and create something new out of it has been a unique opportunity that has changed Damián and his team’s perception for good.
