The Vélez Collection is a collaborative work between todobarro and the Andalusian studio LEBLUME, who authors the design of this collection. We explore the geometric forms of traditional architecture of the South to reformulate traditional elements into surprising pieces and tessellations. LEBLUME
Damián López is the head of LEBLUME, an Interiorism and Graphic Design studio based in Málaga. He has created one of our most versatile collections of terracotta tiles. We’re talking about the Vélez Collection, for which he found inspiration in the geometric shapes of traditional architecture, such as the semicircular arch or the circle, the perfect shape, used to represent divinity and deities throughout numerous cultures.
