Craftsmanship and clay outdoors, for a single-family home
Todobarro floors have always proven to be the ideal companion in a home. Today we bring you another example of this well-suited relationship.
Needless to say, clay floors are the ideal companion for any home, but if the home is right in the Mediterranean area, the relationship exceeds all expectations. A new test to prove that clay is well-suited for outdoors, but also for certain inside areas.
Clay outdoors, for a family home right on the Mediterranean coast
In this case, the project was a family home where practically all of the clay tiles were intended for outdoor use. The reason: a wonderful terrace with Mediterranean décor, with mainly natural materials such as wood, cane and straw.
Our Hexagon 30 clay tile in a flamed straw hue was chosen for the terrace floor, as it is perfect for extensive areas, and it also combines Antique texture with amber shades.

The terrace swimming pool also used our Medio Ladrillo, as a crowning jewel, in the flamed straw version, ideal for adding sophistication to the rustic style, with its classic format.
Inside, the red hues of the Alhambra
But we worked not only on the magnificent outside of the home. A bathroom was also tiled with our Square 10 clay tile, with Alhambra glazing. Its reddish hues with unique textures inspired by the Granada monument, -which in Arabic (al-Ḥamrā) means the red one- bring the necessary warmth to this corner of the home.
In short, the contribution of the clay neo-craftsmanship is a perfect companion to the Mediterranean environment and décor. It not only completes the look, but the clay also provides the warmth of a home and at the same time a cooling effect.
